Strength, Recovery, Reduce Muscle Loss
HMB (Calcium beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate) is a metabolite of the anabolic amino acid L-leucine. HMB is an effective, natural muscle builder when combined with high intensity exercise. HMB 3.0 was specifically formulated to allow you to train harder than before, recover better, and build muscle quicker.
Effective supplementation of HMB tends to be at 3g daily for the purpose of reducing muscle mass loss over time by suppressing genes and enzymes that promote the breakdown of muscle proteins (anti-catabolic). Tart Cherry Extract 10:1 has numerous studies showing its ability to increase recovery rates, reduce muscle soreness, and help support strength levels during recovery. Researchers have concluded that Tart Cherry Extract 10:1 improves recovery of isometric muscle strength after an intensive workout due to a reduction in delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS). One theory proposed is that the high levels of polyphenols (including flavonoids and anthocyanins) found in Tart Cherry Extract 10:1 helped lessen the oxidative damage induced by the exercise.

Two further human studies concluded that supplemental Vitamin D enhanced the recovery of skeletal muscle strength following intense exercise and promoted faster recovery of skeletal muscle strength after muscular injury.
